Hardy Pall Mall Centenary 3/4
The “Pall Mall Centenary” series of Hardy was created in 1992 for the 100th anniversary of the Pall Mall Shop in London, now closed. It consists of 3 reels, in sizes 3/4, 6/7 and 10/11.
The first 100 reels of each size are individually numbered and accompanied by a personalized cloth bag with numbered box. Made with an opaque dark brown paint, equal to those of the Golden Lightweight series, it has engraveds and decorations in golden writing .
Structurally this reel series it’s a synthesis between the two historical series of Hardy: Lightweight and Marquis.
The Pall Mall Centenary 3/4 has the size similary to a Marquis 4, the 6/7 has similary dimentions to a Lightweight Princess and Marquis 7, while 10/11 has the body of a Saint Andrew and the spool of a Marquis Salmon 2.
